Astronaut Explorer1
The Astronaut Explorer1 is 22.5 inches tall with 7 LEDs and an acrylic helmet shield. The shield is illuminated with a blue LED taking it from grey to blue with a flip of a switch. The Astronaut is holding a flashlight and pick axe. The support rover is equipped with 2 movable spotlights lighting up the Astronaut and landscape. Slag ore was used for the Martian landscape. An American flag completes the scene of this awesome patriotic piece! This piece is made of scrap spark plugs, disk rotor, local slag rock, and other random parts. The acrylic “helmet shield” is an acrylic ball surrounded by metal pieces. The LEDs are high quality, long lasting LEDs and accessible for replacement if needed. (Check out the video of the lights in action in the description below).
