SH-60 Seahawk Coin Holder Display

The SH-60B Seahawk (Navy Helicopter) was a design request for a military member for his retirement ceremony after 31 years in the Navy. The helo had a 40 watt LED bulb with dimmer, ball bearing main rotor (spins), wooden blades attached with magnets which allowed for pitch changes to the blades and removal for travel, and 20 challenge coin holders for a beautiful, unique and personal display piece. Dimensions including base: 22″ long, 16″ tall.

Executive Lamps

Our “Executive” lamps were made from miscellaneous metal parts, unique pieces that we pulled from the scrap that we had on hand at the time and pieced together. These elegant lamps are approximately 25 inches tall and 13 inches wide at the top. These types of lamps fit into any decor!!

“Command and Control” Sparky

Command and Control Sparky’s (call sign C2 Sparky) mission was to provide you an answerable POP phone so while your phone was charging below you could plug the POP phone in and answer calls old school style. C2 Sparky was equipped with a 40 watt led spot light, a spot to hold your phone, a metal radio communications backpack with a simulated flexible whip antenna, and a full size handset that connected to your cell phone. If you deployed C2 Sparky to your desktop, he would illuminate your work space, hold your phone while it charged, and help you make those critical calls! C2 Sparky was constructed from scrap rebar, brake rotor, spark plugs, chain, and other miscellaneous car parts.

Rusty Coors Cans Train

Discarded metal cans baked in the Arizona desert for years were transformed into a 1900 era locomotive! One of our favorite pieces. Just out driving the truck off-road and came across this pile of cans. Gave them new life! You could still see the Coors logo on the side of one of the cans.

“Opera Boss” from Nier: Automata

This enchanting result from a design request, the Opera Boss, was an interpretation of the Beauvoir character from the game Nier Automata. The little “droids” hanging off her headdress and dress were made from ball bearing balls, steel rod, and random nails. Grecian perforated metal tiles made up her dress and was adorned with red cotton fabric. Copper wires connected the nails on her headdress. She spun on a ball bearing supported brake rotor, lit-up and would “sing” with a blue-tooth speaker mounted under her dress. Her arms were also movable (up or down).

Mortar

This mortar was a design request from the wife of an Army member who wanted to surprise her husband for his birthday. Not only did it have a movable business card holder and pen cup (held on with strong earth magnets) but it could be configured how you like and also allowed you to load and launch those little confetti-filled party poppers. So a slow day at work could be livened up with a few blasts from the mortar. Super cool.

Tomahawk

This scrap metal Tomahawk originated from a design request and was given as a gift to a service member with the Army company Tucson Tomahawks. The Tomahawk is made of springs, bolts, bike chain, transmission rings, and the handle from a piece of workout equipment. To further the Tomahawk theme, we also made a few small spark plug Tomahawk bottle openers.

Raptor-bot

This was the first of our Raptor-bot series! This fierce fighter was constructed from bolts, spark plugs, a display sign, and motor parts. It stood 18 inches tall and was equipped with a 50 watt LED bulb underneath. The front cannons swiveled to give it a little action as well. What else is there to say… RAPTOR-BOT!!!!

Shadow Drone

As a design request, we built a RQ-7B Shadow Drone challenge coin display for a military member. We used a spark plug body, screw head wheels, and a ball bearing for the bottom-mounted camera. This was mounted to a rotating gear for this unique challenge coin display.

Other Sparky’s

We’ve made 15 different Sparky’s since our our company started (some of them were repeats with a certain theme e.g., Desktop Sparky with fan, Party Sparky with chest-mounted bottle opener, and Executive Sparky who holds business cards and pens). These are a favorite with our customers!

Custom Hitch Covers

We have made several tactical related hitch covers. We have made an AR with a painted blue line to show support for Local/State law enforcement. We have also made a hot pink one because why not.

Autism Awareness Hitch Cover

We met a gentleman who loved our tactical related hitch covers but had a unique design request spin on them.. he requested an autism awareness related hitch cover. This was a unique request that we thought looked cleaner with the use of a CNC machine. Some paint to interlock the puzzle pieces added some vibrant life to the piece. We were stoked by the result and the family that requested the design loved it as well!

Saturn V Rocket

This rocket was inspired by the the Saturn V Apollo mission programs. It had five flickering engines at the base (via smaller bulbs) and an led lamp on the inside of the main body that illuminated wood “USA” lettering that hung inside the main body of the rocket. The lettering was attached by magnets allowing the option to customize the text. When you flipped the light switch, it looked like it was about to launch!

Metal and Wood Belt-Fed Machine Gun

This beautiful scrap metal and wood, M249 inspired, belt-fed machine gun was one of our original pieces. It was made of dark stained wood, pipe, chain, bolts, rebar, and various other metal pieces. Cross hairs in the scope lined up with the front sight. There was a pivoting carry handle and collapsible bipod. The spring-loaded deadbolt simulated chambering a round. After displaying this piece for months, a military member requested we create a stand with a placard holder so he could give it as a gift for a fellow service member and his idea was ingenious!! It elevated a beautiful piece into a very stately and thoughtful gift.

Law Enforcement and First Responder Mini-Series

The Law Enforcement Officer and First Responder mini-series pieces are like our action figures of scrap metal art. We love our law enforcement and first responders and have a lot of respect for what they do. These figures are typically made from rebar or bolts, are positioned a certain way, and mounted to a ring that can hold magnetic coin holders thus a challenge coin display as well. For the two CBP Officers we used barbed wire found in Douglas, AZ, and used Rip Rap Rock which is local to Arizona. These make great going away gifts or momentos.

Shell and Flame Lamp and Challenge Coin Display

A design request from a prior service member to slightly tweak our EOD bomb to represent the Ammo community resulted in the Shell and Flame Lamp and challenge coin display. Mounted on a rotating brake rotor, the lamp has a flaming bulb inside. We removed the lightning bolts and mounted a round metal and round bar “pisspot” to the front.

DEA Special Agent Sparky with Coin Holder Base

So much fun creating this Sparky! This was a design request to be gifted to an Agent as a going away gift from her team. DEA Sparky is wearing her tactical gear as she displays her “badge” (i.e., challenge coin and bottle opener). She is made mostly from scrap metal and sits on a flywheel coin holder base with a mounted blue law enforcement torch (blue flame bulb mounted inside).

Other Military Items

We have made several military related items, A-10s (e.g., pen cup holders, bookends, challenge coin displays), a Howitzer Challenge Coin Display, Tanks, etc.
