This week we added two new lamps after selling our executive lamps this month. We love making the lamps.. it’s a fun and creative team effort to figure out what pieces look best for a certain look we are trying to achieve. The first lamp we added is called the “Area 51” because it looks out of this world with the aluminum fan clutch and thermostats. The other lamp is the “Rustic Chandelier” which is made of pieces of old, rusty metal we collected from the side of railroad tracks in Gila Bend, AZ and a wash in Ajo, AZ.
When we are out driving or walking and finding scraps of metal, we don’t really know what we’ll use it for but we collect it just in case. And when we go back and start poking around and pulling pieces out of a box, an idea hits and the process of which pieces and how to weld or connect them begins. We really enjoy making these unique lamps and hope you like them as well – let us know your feedback anytime by sharing a comment!
